| Optimized settings - 1600 x 1200 |
If you believe you already have good settings for your monitor, you might want to look at the images on the right. The image on top is from a standard monitor using "default" configuration settings (1024 x 768) without any extra settings. The image on the bottom uses the same hardware with optimized settings. The resolution is 1600 x 1200, with 150% DPI and ClearType set on. Can you see the difference?
Many people will go for years using the default settings on their computer, without knowing they can achieve much better on-screen readability!
